Advanced SIKS course on Computational Intelligence
INTRODUCTION
On May 23 and 24 2013, the School for Information and Knowledge Systems (SIKS) will organize an advanced course on Computational Intelligence. The course takes two days, will be given in English and is part of the so called Advanced Components Stage of the Educational Program for SIKS-PhD- students. Although these courses are primarily intended for SIKS-PhD- students, other participants are not excluded. However, their number of passes will be restricted and depends on the number of students taking the course. The course is given by experienced lecturers actively involved in the research areas related to the topics of the course. LOCATION: Conference center De Bergse Bossen, Driebergen DATE: 23-24 May 2013 SCIENTIFIC DIRECTORS:
Dr. A. Feelders (UU)
Prof.dr. T. Heskes (RUN)
Prof.dr. Arno Siebes (UU) PROGRAM:
The program is not known yet, but may contain the following topics:
machine learning
neural and evolutionary computing
datamining / intelligent data analysis
adaptive / self-organising / fuzzy systems
quantitative / statistical empirical research
probabilistic reasoning / Bayesian networks
pattern and image recognition
intelligent search algorithms / games REGISTRATION
In the conference center there is a limited number of places and there isinterest from other groups in the topic as well. Therefore, an early registration is required.
More details on registration will be made available soon.
